Midway Church at Tahoka
Evelyn invited the church to come and have a service at Lynnwood Assisted where she is living. Bro. Garland shared a message of how they are to serve - by being prayer warriors.
Evelyn and Bobbie enjoyed visiting.

Early V-8 Car tour
We started our trip to the Early V-8 car tour by going through Dallas. Brad's birthday was celebrated at Outback.
On Wednesday we headed to Paris - Paris, Tx.
The town was very beautiful with its dogwood, azaleas, and many wild flowers all blooming. The ladies had a tour of the town with its many historical houses. The town has done a wonderful job of sharig itself through the preservation and pride they have put into the area. I was looking forward to the area because my Sanders ancestors lived here in the early 1900s.

Easter at Midway Baptist Church
Our pastor and his wife, Garland and Lila Stueart
Travis, Donna, and Lanny Burkett

Chrysti and Raymond Love
Visiting home, Laura, Skylar, and Brad Taylor.
Laura played the piano for us. It was a joy to have our daughter's talents shared.
It was a great day to celebrate.
Before Easter
Skylar enjoyed her Aunt Rhonda's Lite Brite. She is very "crafty" and loves to create. I love this child: she ask if we can go watch T.V. and her choice is a quilting show!
Then her PaPa loves her because she calls him her "big snuggly bear".

Easter at our house
In Lamesa, we visited Gebos' Farm store. Skylar got to hold (and want) a baby chick. PaPa was all for the plan. Mommie said "No". I think it had something to do with chicken 'squackie'. This is a rough spelling of what Grandma Faye Love called chicken poop.
Time to hunt the eggs. Skylar and I had decorated hard boiled eggs earlier in the afternoon. So the bunny hid them plus the extras that i had fixed before they got here.
There were several cascarrones -Mexican traditional eggs. The empty shell is filled with confetti and a tissue paper cover is glued over the opening. The joy is to break them over someone's head and fill their hair with confetti.
We had a great time. The best part was having a kid to ask what Easter really means.
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is our salvation.
