The crew presented a show on Thursday night. The Philippino wait staff were talented. They asked me before-hand if I would participate. I told them I have no natural rhythm. No problem. To them! I was asked to dance in the pole dance that night. The poles are tapped on the blocks twice and then together. The dancers were so graceful as they stepped in and out with the music. Then here they came for my hand. I was not so graceful but it was great fun.

Mackinaw 's Beauty
On Wednesday we spent the day on Mackinaw Island. This was Bobbie's dream - to see the Grand Hotel. It. Was beautiful. And we enjoyed a buffet lunch. Yes we are officially "fudgies". The main tourist draw is the island made fudge. I'll have to add pictures after we get home. The most fun has been a couple who are celebrating their 60 th anniversary. They spent their honeymoon at Niagara Falls and Mackinaw Island

Update on Momma's bathroom
So where do you go when this is the location of the commode? When Raymond and I got there on Sat. afternoon we found lots of work had been done. The men had torn all the walls out to the studs, the old tub was broken and carried out in 2 pieces.
This is the floor tile that was laid on Sat. in the bathroom. The hardy-backer board was placed in the shower and on the floor before the tiles. New sheetrock is on all the surfaces. A leaking copper tubing line was the cause of the circles on the ceiling. They repaired the line and then got the sheetrock up.The walls are Spanish drag textured and will be painted on Sunday.
Sunday: The painting has been done and the tiles are up in the shower. Tomorrow the grouting will be done and the new sink and cabinet will be placed. I'm hoping for Momma's sake, they get the commode placed soon.

My sweet son-in-law
I have a delightful picture of Rhonda's husband. Raymond and
I could not have chosen a better man to marry our younger daughter.
He has often left me a picture on my camera or iPhone to discover as we travel home.
I was SO tempted to include it here, and then I had a thought:
He has pictures of me that he could have some serious pay-back.
OK. It is worth the risk.

Good neighbors
Where in the World?
Her mommy told her that GranBob had traveled to lots of places.
They placed a call with the intention of asking GranBob
about some the the places where she has been.
This was Mommy's idea. When Skylar got on the phone
she asked" GranBob, could you buy me a globe?" GranBob laughed
and Mommy scolded! (One Christmas when GranBob was a girl she
had asked for a globe that she received and enjoyed.)
Choices! The Teacher Store in San Angelo had a nice selection.
Big smiles from a happy girl.
We looked for Madagascar and the Pacific Ocean. This was when we
realized, the Pacific was misspelled. So were all the names! A call to the
store revealed it was in French. An exchange was made quickly and
now we could read the names.
A big hug and thank you for the special great-grandmother
who loves her Skylar so much.
