Raymond's Upgrade

 Raymond's California Scooter came with a 150cc motor.
It wasn't long before he began to want

 "More Power".

The company now has a 250cc motor to replace the old one.
ASAP, Raymond had the old motor off.

And with Ben Sargent's help, the new one in place.

First successful ride put a smile on Raymond's face.

Finished product. (Yes, I did get some grease and gas on me too.)

Christmas came early this year for Raymond and I. "Santa" delivered his V8 sign last week and we got it hung in the garage. He has tried for years to win a sign like this at the Early V8 tour. Bobbie and I gave him this one for his gift this year.
He was thrilled.

My oldest Sister's Birthday

I come from a happy family of 5 kids and Momma. This October we took the opportunity to get together for an important birthday party. Barbara, as oldest, is showing us how to live life to the fullest.

Barbara, Chrysti. Ethel ( Momma), Nancy, Gail, and Bob.

Yes, Barbara does have on a tiara.  With the birthday girl properly crowned, we sang "Happy Birthday to you-u-u-u-u" and she reacted by:

 Cake made her forgive us.

Nancy gave her a metal Owl -for being the oldest and wisest.

She is reading the card from Raymond and I.

It only said I was her favorite sister.

As usual, I have to prove my point.

Nancy saying her favorite quote " I was adopted" (which she wasn't)

"My sisters have the best sisters in the world"

Drought in San Angelo

As you have heard, our part of the state has been so very dry for over 2 years. Lake Nasworthy was built as a constant level lake to provide water to the electric power plant here and to provide water to San Angelo. Here are before and current pictures of our area. (Sure make me want to not waste water!)
