Kaelyn coming home

This is the 1st time that Skylar has gotten to meet her new sister, Kaelyn Love Taylor.
Kaelyn's happy times at home.
GranBob and Kaelyn
Kaelyn, Gran, and Skylar
Papa and Kaelyn
Helping Mommy to feed Kaelyn a bottle.
Burp, please.
Papa and Gran bought "I'm the Big Sister" and "I'm the Little Sister" shirts for the girls.
A set of beautiful granddaughters for Raymond and I.

Skylar's First Fishing Experience

Here goes Papa and Skylar for their 1st time to fish.
With a dough ball for bait, Skylar waited patiently.
And waited....
And waited.....
And then the bait was GONE! The "bandits" took the bait and broke the line.
Maybe next time....

Skylar's week in Gran and Papa's care

It is Skylar's turn to visit with us. What a week!
Because we are moving, Skylar got to spend her days helping with various work. She spent time with PaPa on the tractor.

Special treat time- we made homemade ice cream.
Add some hot fudge and cherries......
On Thursday, we finally got to a point where we all needed some rest. Look out, GranBob, here we come!
Cool and refreshing! Let's play until it is too dark to see!

The Trip in One Post

U.S. Independence - American Cruise Line

One of the many lighthouses with the care-taker's cottage beside it.

Acadia National Park with Raymond enjoying a Blueberry Soda.

Raymond and I had already lost our kite but others enjoyed the experience. This was the top deck aboard ship.

Raymond with Cynthia and Larry Collins, a couple that we enjoyed spending time with during the trip.

Belfast, Maine

This was our favorite tour. The Lobster Boat trip. The fisherman, Captain Steve was very entertaining. Raymond and I enjoyed learning the process of his occupation.

Maybe the high-light of the trip: Jeff and Jessica came aboard in Portland, Maine to have dinner with us. They offered to drive up and we were amazed. to cross 3 states to see us! 71 miles and they were there. We enjoyed the Maine coast and the people were welcoming.

Father's Day

I thought you might like to see a picture of my Daddy. Since he died in 1995, I have missed being
able to visit with him. He was a fine example of a man of character and he loved his family both in actions and words. We still laugh about his standard "I love you sugar" when we called. He didn't call a name because he couldn't tell who he was talking to on the phone.
Now on Father's Day, I am able to honor the man that I helped to make a daddy.

Happy Father's Day to you!
