Visit to Momma's

Raymond and I made a quick trip to visit my mother.

Her bathroom is in need of an up-date. The grandkids liked to swim in

that 4 foot square tub. Here are some before pictures and when this

job is completed, I'll include the new remodeling.

Good neighbors

Ric has rescued another baby purple Martin from the lake.

Raymond lowered the house and Ric placed the young bird
back with the parents.

Karen, his wife, is visiting with our family at the July 4th picnic.

Karen was the "push" behind the Homeowner Association beginning the July 4th fireworks after there was no display for 3 years.

Where in the World?

Skylar has been studying the world in Day Care.

Her mommy told her that GranBob had traveled to lots of places.

They placed a call with the intention of asking GranBob

about some the the places where she has been.

This was Mommy's idea. When Skylar got on the phone

she asked" GranBob, could you buy me a globe?" GranBob laughed

and Mommy scolded! (One Christmas when GranBob was a girl she

had asked for a globe that she received and enjoyed.)

Choices! The Teacher Store in San Angelo had a nice selection.

We looked for Madagascar and the Pacific Ocean. This was when we

realized, the Pacific was misspelled. So were all the names! A call to the

store revealed it was in French. An exchange was made quickly and

now we could read the names.

A big hug and thank you for the special great-grandmother

who loves her Skylar so much.

4th of July

7 bodies in the MXK going to the picnic at ASC recreational area.

Ice cream and a visit from our neighbor who made the party happen.
