Rylee's time with us

Raymond and I have had so much fun with Rylee. She stayed after the 4th of July until her mom and Reagan came back to get her this week.
She enjoys the water as much as I do.
She and PaPa spent special time together.
The tractor ride and driving are highlights of going to the farmhouse.
Our project this time was a Bible tote. She designed the crosses and heart. With my guidance
she sewed with my machine for the first time.
The bonus project was a birthday present she brought for us to figure out. It was a beading loom. So after she went to bed, I read the instructions and got it started. She finished her pink and blue piece before her mom got back. Reagan was intrigued and wanted to make one. We reset the loom and she made a red and yellow strip. With all 3 of us working, we got hers done also. We made felt envelope bags with velco dot closures and sewed the beaded strips on the flap.

Looks like she had a great time. I know we did.

Can an Old Lady Ski?

As Rylee and I were riding the inner tube, she told me she had a friend who said "old people couldn't ski but you can,  can't you  Gran?" So with that and Rhonda wanting pictures, I got out the ski and here I am proving I can still ski. At 58. That isn't old!!!
Thanks to Rhonda and Jason for the pictures. I've never had a photo made to prove my love of skiing.

Reeves and Loves at the Lake

Raymond and I have had so much fun on the water all our married lives. This 4th of July, Rhonda, Jason, Rylee, and Reagan were all home.
PaPa bought a new inner tube and this was the year we have dreamed of. Every one enjoyed the water!
Thanks Jason for your photos. They are wonderful.
