A side trip

This is at Newburyport.
Jeff and Jessica were giving their dog, Abraham a walk on the beach.

My jacket was a bit light for the cool ocean breeze.

Meal with Jeff and Jessica

We ate at the Ale House with Jeff and Jessica. The food was great and we walked out over the river that ran the mill in Amesbury.

Look what Laura started

Laura and Brad bought a new Explorer on Sat. Her "excuse" was she needed more room. ( it was true)
My excuse? Raymond loves to see me smile.

This is my new MKT ( My Kinda Truck)we bought this afternoon. I am going to love this! Thanks, sweetheart.

Easter at the Farmhouse 2011

The Easter bunny hid eggs at Gran and Pa Pa's house!

Pa Pa thought Skylar might need glasses. We laughed as she walked right by some eggs.
A successful hunt. Skylar had lots of eggs.

Kaelyn wanted one and Skylar shared.
On Sunday morning, Kaelyn choose her shoes by taste???
Skylar was stretching when I took this picture. She has grown so much the last few months. When she sits in Pa Pa's lap, she needs a stool to keep her feet off the floor.
Kaelyn loves to laugh and she is a delight.

The family minus Chrysti for an Easter picture. (Raymond took one but I have my mouth open so I chose not to use it.)

Kaelyn loves GranBob and she "talks" to get her attention.
What a different picture from last year's. A new baby really brightened up our lives.

Major Cushman activity

When you get the Cushman people together, ice cream will be a part of the day. This trip a man came with a Fairbanks Morris motor that cranked a 5 gallon ice cream maker. I happened to have my bowl and spoon ready for a salad but it was too much fun to tease them about me having a serving.

Scootering in Water Valley

Time to ride for the Cushmans. Saturday morning we left Water Valley camping area and drove over the divide to Robert Lee. It takes devoted people to take off when it is 45 degrees.

After breakfast we went back toward the camp because of the grass fires between Robert Lee and San Angelo. The riders took a senic loop toward Mertizon. I was driving the chase vehicle. When Raymond stretched up his legs, I didn't know why - then I saw the rattlesnake he had run over.

A stop to rest a bit. I got a quick picture with the guys as a group.

Kaelyn another lover of Pa Pa

Just as the other granddaughters, Kaelyn has fallen in love with her Pa Pa. She gave him the only kiss we saw during our brief visit.
"Hello GranBob"

"There's my Pa Pa!"

A little dark, but Kaelyn was looking at Raymond.

Then the two of them enjoyed their time together.

A Sweetheart

My mother-in-law and Kaelyn's great grand mother is a wonderful lady. She bought this suit for Kaelyn and we are rewarded with a big smile.
