Really, the last party

Princess Reagan

Candles and Cake time!!!

The Reeves family will appreciate this one: "Did Mimi tape this?"

Mimi (Kathy Reeves) came and celebrated this day with us. We had a wonderful time.
Rhonda was telling Rylee this was the last of her birthday parties and she asked " What about Uncle Brad and Aunt Laura?" She knows Aunt Laura won't forget to bring a present!

More birthday for Rylee

Rylee's mom, dad, and sister came in last night. Since it is such beautiful weather, they wanted her to have her birthday present today instead of tomorrow. (The weather is forecast to be cold and windy on Saturday.) I have never seen a child who could ride the first time like Rylee.

Rylee's 1st 5th birthday party

Our Birthday Girl!!!!

Rylee and I baked a cake and shaped it like a bunny.

GranBob and PaPa are lighting 5 candles.

Rylee blew them out.

Here she is with her balloons.

Note: This year she got to go with GranBob and choose her roses and balloons. The next party will be when her Mom, Dad, and Sister come on Friday.

Rylee's birthday

We are enjoying Rylee here today. This is her 5th birthday. We have talked to Momma and Reagan, Aunt Allie, Mimi Reeves. Now we have baked the cake and while it cools we are going to eat lunch at her favorite place Chick-fil-A. More later when we have the cake decoreted.

Flock of pelicans

Once in a while, we get to see an unusual flock of birds. I am not good at identifying birds but these pelicans are something I've seen in pictures before. They have been on the lake for a couple of weeks and this morning was my first chance to get a picture.
